Most branded merch ends up in a landfill. In fact, over 79% of promotional products are discarded within a year, contributing to the 300 million tons of plastic waste produced globally each year. That’s where we come in.
At Ethical Swag, we believe merchandise should build connection - not waste. We're here to help brands make smart, sustainable choices that engage communities and respect the planet. Every product we offer is vetted for ethical sourcing, fair wages, and real impact so your swag tells a better story.

Our Supply Chain. Your Peace of Mind.
When we say ethical, we mean it and at every step. Our supply chain isn't just a background process; it's a reflection of our values. We partner with suppliers who share our standards of fairness, sustainability, and accountability, so you can trust that every product we deliver is as responsible as it is remarkable.
This isn't just about doing things differently, it's about doing them right.
How We Source: A Process with Purpose
Our Ethical Sourcing Process goes beyond paperwork. Every supplier is vetted for:
- Labor standards – Fair wages, safe working conditions, and no child or forced labor
- Environmental responsibility – Sustainable materials, energy-conscious manufacturing, and waste reduction
- Diverse ownership – We actively seek partnerships with women-owned, Indigenous-owned, and minority-led businesses
- Certifications and transparency – We verify claims, not just take them at face value
Only suppliers who meet our standards and prove it through documentation and audits make the cut.

Operational Transparency
You Can Count On
We hold ourselves and our partners to high standards, with regular audits that cover:
- Social compliance
- Environmental impact
- Product safety
- Supply chain security
- Product quality
Because behind every tote bag, tumbler, or tee we deliver, there’s a clear line of accountability.

Your Orders. Our Collective Impact.

Making a
Difference, Together.
At Ethical Swag, we believe your brand story can do more than just reach people, it can lift communities, protect the planet, and bring values to life.
That’s why we partner with organizations that are creating real, measurable change, and why we make it easy for our clients to be part of it.
From planting trees and donating meals to supporting homeless shelters and mental health services, every item you choose through Ethical Swag can have a chance to give back.
Over the last year, this graph shows how our customers have shopped by their values.
Giving Back, Together
We’re proud to contribute to a growing network of purpose-driven impact partners, including:
Our mission is to help turn your company's ESG goals into real-world impact. Below, see how forward‑thinking clients have used swag to support the environment, equity, and social impact while strengthening their brand and community.

Turning Socks into Support:
Impact Case Study
When Sydney Credit Union came to us with their charitable golf tournament in mind, the question wasn’t “What swag should we give?”, it was “What impact can we create?”
Together, we landed on socks. For every pair gifted to tournament participants, another was donated to the Ally Centre, a local organization supporting at-risk individuals through shelter and mental health care. The result? A giveaway that brought comfort, dignity, and visibility to a real community need.
Supporting Nonprofit Partners
When a client partners with us to raise awareness for conservation, we designed a campaign linking branded products with tangible support. A portion of revenue from every item sold is donated to the Jane Goodall Foundation, helping fund reforestation and community education programs.
The result: brand exposure and measurable ecological impact that aligns with long-term ESG goals.
Reducing Waste &
Encouraging Choice
CarGurus wanted to minimize waste in their swag strategy. We worked together to implement Choice-Based Gifting allowing recipients to select the product they truly want (versus receiving a "one-size-fits-all" item). This reduces unwanted swag ending up in the landfill and ensures that every item is valued and used. As a bonus, they also paired the gifting with a "donate a product" model, further amplifying impact.
What Clients Say
"As an organization that exists to support exploited and trafficked individuals, it is important to use to use our funds ethically and support businesses that align with our values.
We have always been so happy with the products we receive from Ethical Swag. We have ordered pens that illicit positive comments at every event we bring them to.
Most recently, we worked with Ethical Swag to design and order postcards printed on seed paper. The seed paper was an essential part of this marketing concept, and representatives helped us understand the product and work through design questions we had. We are so happy with the finished product and proud to mail them to our supporters and donors."
